summer’s gone…

…although somewhat unsurprisingly  the last few days have been beautiful!

Anyway, back now after a lovely 3 weeks off with Kay and the Sephimonster…great times of rest and restoration, including an awesome week in North Wales with our friends Andy, Verity and little Finn.  Lovely, lovely, lovely.

And now, back into the run of everyday life.  Kay has started at her new school, which means she’s back to work full-time for the first time since Sephi was born.  This is going to be a new experience for us all as we work out how life works in this new pattern.  What’s really cool is that Kay’s mum, Denise, is now the Salvation Army Officer in charge of the work in Paignton…just about 30 mins away…and she’s looking after Sephi for us on a Thursday.

All this is just so that I can stick up the video below – basically, I’m looking after Sephi every Friday, which is a real joy – but I say this video on Carlos Whittaker’s blog Ragamuffin Soul and I just had to post it here…

This is entirely what I fear will happen every time that I’m left in charge…seriously, but as yet, it hasn’t.  Not that I’m admitting anyway!

So, happy Autumn term everyone…and here’s to more posts in the future…
