Simple treats…
Love having a bit of bacon and egg action…especially on a saturday evening having had a pretty busy day…
Trip to the cinema to see Brave…good, but a little confusing for Sephi. Followed up with bits and pieces of unpacking stuff we’ve had hidden away whilst doing our room up…
So by the time we’d got to this evening we just wanted something simple and satisfying…

Lovely few days with our friends have drawn to a close…
Lots of fun and sharing time together.
And they know us so well – pressies for us featured a lovely hairband for Sephi, funky flipflops for Kay and 3 (yes 3!) different types of coffee chocolate for me.

I love marmalade. And I love my Mum. So I’m never happier than when my Mum makes marmalade.
It’s been a while since she’s turned her hand to making it, but after some delicious lemon curd earlier this year she made a batch and brought it with her when M+D came down this week to look after Sephi.

Here’s a double barrelled treat for you all: Proof that Britain enjoyed a summer of sorts in May 2012. We don’t know how long it will last, so we shall enjoy it!

Firstly we have our lovely new BBQ working itself up to a hot frenzy. Yummy burgers and chipolatas enjoyed by all!
Second is Sephi making her version of Eton Mess. Strawberries, meringue, cream and…well…mess! Lots of it. Yum again!

Been a busy few days. Lots of family, great to catch up with everyone…even if not necessarily or the happiest of reasons.
